Best Big Island Luaus

Imagine being invited to an unforgettable and romantic evening of celebration, entertainment, and a great meal.

That's what you get when you attend a Luau, that traditional Hawaiian festival that features Polynesian song, dance, and (of course) great food! Come join your Island hosts under the swaying palm trees and starry sky as you partake in this one of a kind Island experience.

A roast pig, baked in an Imu (an underground oven) is the centerpiece of the Luau. In fact, the unearthing of the pig in the Imu ceremony generally marks the beginning of the feast. But roast pork is far from the only dish offered - the luau table is set with succulent tropical fruits, delicious Island potatoes, a medley of native fish, and many other Polynesian style treats.

Plus, to match all appetites, contemporary European and American style dishes are served, making sure everyone's palette is satisfied.

After your meal, get ready for some enchanting entertainment - Hawaiian style. Ancient Polynesian lore is regaled through dance, costume, and ancient rhythmic drumming and chanting. Together with the astonishing fire-knife dances and graceful hula, the entertainment will cap your perfect Polynesian evening.
